I did a hardware check using PC Doctor. It all came out clean. But your
comment about drivers might be relevant. I had AVG free and about a month ago
I started having problems with the update. They would not install without
rebooting. Then in the last few days it would not even update. I reinstalled
it and ended up with definitions from last Dec that, of course, would not
update. I gave up on it. It might be a good thing I did. My PC seems a lot
less buggy all of a sudden though it’s too soon to tell if this was causing
all the constant problems I was having with Vista. I'll have a better idea in
a few days. Thanks for the help!
