a power outage turned my computer off. when i tried
to restart the computer , a blue screen appeared and
reads --- a problem has been detected and windows has
been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.

i got the f-8 to work which took me to the advanced set-
up page.

however, everything i try brings me back to the BLUE
SCREEN!!!
please help
THANKS

Try a cold start. Shut off the power to the computer and after a minute or
two turn the power back on and start up the machine. With any luck, this
will have cleared the boot process and you be starting in normal mode. If
not, your system may have been damaged by the power glitch.

the outage may have fried a component on your motherboard - or even the
motherboard itself.
If you have more than one stick of RAM try removing one and booting up, if
blue screen then put it back and remove another and so on.

You didn't give the exact error message; however, in most cases this has to
do with the less than or equal to meaning you need to reinstall your OS.
Good luck!
