I keep getting this error message when I start my computer:

'we apologive for the inconvenience, but windows did not start
successfully.
a recent hardware or software change might have caused this.
if your computer stopped responding, restarted unexpectedly or was
automatically shut down to protect your files and folders , choose
last known
good configuration to revert to the most recent settings that worked.
if a previouse startup attemp was interrupetd due to a power failure
or
becuaw the power or reset button was pressed, or if you arent sure
what
caused the problem choose start windows normally.

safemode
safe mode with networking
safe mode with command prompt
last known good configuration (your most recent settings that worked)
start windows normally

use the up and down arrow keys to move the highligh to your choice.'

Anything I choose it just restarts itself with the same message. I
cannot even open in safe mode. How do I fix this?

Thanks.

Possibly a Hive of the Registry is corrupted and preventing the PC
from being able to load/run Windows. If you have a Windows CD
you can boot to it and run a "Repair" install. There are manual steps
to revert to an older Registry - but that is a more advanced process.

I would read through the KB article and decide if you're capable &
comfortable making the changes the article describes.

Another option is a System Restore from Safe Mode with Command
Prompt:
