I get an error message everytime I try to do anything in Windows XP Media
Center Edition 2004. I just removed a lot of viruses like some Trojans. There
are currently no viruses on the computer according to Norton Anti-Virus 2006.
The blue screen error says "A problem has been detected......";"If this is
the first time you've seen this stop error screen...."; "Check to be sure you
have adequate disk space...." and "Check your hardware vendor for any BIOS
updates....etc." and for Technical information it says:
*** STOP: 0x0000008E (0x0000005, 0x82A3AB6C, 0xB823DA70, 0x00000000)
Beginning dump of physical memory
Physical memory dump complete.
Contact your system administrator or technical support group for further
assistance.
It doesn't give me any information on what system file or file is causing
the error. I havent repaired Windows yet but I might have to resort to it. Im
desperate to fix this blue screen instead of re-installing Windows.
Thank You
