I have a new Dell laptop that has had around 40 blue screen messages. I have
already re-installed windows but I am still getting 2 errors:

PFN_LIST_CORRUPT
IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
Hardware may not be properly installed
STOP: )Ox0000000A, 0x871DA3F4, 0x00000001, 0x806E4A16)

and
STOP:0x0000007F (0x00000008, 0x80042000, 0x00000000, 0x00000000) saying to
Run a system diagnostic utility supplied by your hardware manufacturer. In
particular, run a memory check and check for faulty or mismatched memory. Try
changing video adapters.

Any help would be appreciated.

I got a message like this before on another computer. I do not know what
caused, so I too would like help. Try searching for the exact error message
in Microsoft.com.
Interestingly enough, I was scanning for viruses and whacking everytihng
near me because I was bored. I whacked the top of the computer casing and
boom - blue screen!

Sounds like a driver problem. From the above error message, I would
first suspect a video driver problem, especially if your Dell has an ATI
Radeon video board like my Dell does. If you have the latest video
drivers installed but the problem persists, then you may have a problem
with the Radeon video board itself. In that case, it's time to complain
to Dell and get it fixed under warranty. This won't be the first time
in world history that Dell computers have had incompatibilities with
some models of the Radeon boards they're shipped with.
