Blue Screen Stop on Boot

Hey, I have been getting a stop error on boot it reads:
Multiple_IRP_Complete_Requests

The technical data reads:
stop 0x00000044 (0x81bd0008 0x00001b90 0x00000000
0x00000000)

Does any one know what is causing this, i am kind of new
to XP, it started about 4 days after installing. there is
nothing about it in the knowledge base..... any help
would be great.

Oh, and if i boot to safe mode, then restart the comp
starts just fine, I have to do that every time.
