Blue Screen of Death

I receive a Blue Screen of Death and the following
message when I boot my Windows XP computer STOP: c0000135
unable to locate file WINSRV.dll. My computer keeps
trying to reboot in an endless loop. How can I fix this
problem and prevent if from happening again?

I'd recommend booting off your Windows XP disc (Go into
BIOS (hit delete while your computer boots up) Then, make
your ATAPI drive the initial boot device... disable your
HD as a boot up device) After it boots off of the
Window's cd, hit 'r' in the first screen. Windows will
attempt to repair itself and any corrupt or missing
files. However, do this AFTER reading up and trying other
ideas... it is possible that you may have to reformat
your HD and complete install XP on your computer a second
time.
