The gist of it is "IRQL not less or equal...
Address8048D125 base @804000000, DateStamp 3ad7ad60
htoskrnl.exe." with a whole line of alpha numerics at the
start (which begins "STOP: ..."

I'd had to reinstall Windows a week or so back and have
been adding my peripherals. IRQL represents a conflict,
doesn't it? And what with the krnl.exe? Any ideas?
Thanks.

IRQL is not related to IRQ conflicts... its just an unfortunate coincidence
in acronyms that causes confusion. IRQL errors are often caused by old
drivers. make sure you got all the latest drivers for your hardware first.
