Blue Screen No Error Message

I recently booted my computer and found my desktop had been changed to a blue
screen. I then tried to restart but with no luck it was stuck on a blue
screen, it will not let me manually change my desktop back to its default
state. No error message pops up and all programs are working fine. From
reading some of the other posts I picked up on a suggestion to try a registry
cleaner, which I did (error doctor 2006) claims to fix this problem but I had
no luck with this. Please reply with suggestions to rid myself of this awfull
blue screen from hell.
Thanks

I love system restore but unfourtuatly it failed me on this one...no worry's
though. After searching through threads for the same problem I found out that
it was caused by spy sherriff. There is a whole breakdown of how to fix this
problem if you type in spy sherriff in the seach bar. My problem was resolved
thanks to David L. Lipman.

Many Thanks
