Blue Screen/freezing

At times i get a blue scree, this is after my pc locks up, i then get the
blue screen. I only get the blue screen after it freezes, i can leave pc
unattended for maybe 5 min. sometimes 20 before it freezes. No program
running other than IE, Webroot & Trend A/V. I then have to reboot pc, i do
have limwire installed, i've been told that could be the cause, i thought
about a restore before i installed limewire but if so don't i have to d/l,
install all Windows updates?

Hi,

Details of the blue screen would help. BCCode, modules involved, etc. So
would a history on when it began and what software was installed or updated
around the same time. Limewire? Sure, it could be the problem, but not
directly - there are a lot of viruses available in P2P software and you may
have gotten one.

All Windows updates? I doubt that you have a restore point that goes back
that far. There may be a few recent ones but so what? The computer does
all that sort of thing for you anyway.

Hi,

BCCode a (or 0xa) is generally a driver error. The contents of this file may
help identify which one is at fault:

c:\\window\mini dmp\mini 061 308 01.dmp

Please send it to me at the email address used here ([email protected]) with a
subject line of 'per req'.
