Every time I apply the hot fixes on this machine from the
Windows upgrade site I get blue screen error and the
machine automatically reboots. I cannot get the number of
the blue screen error because the machine reboots so
fast. I then need to do the recovery process from my
original win 2K CD which downgrades me back to my original
1999 version. When I then go to the Windows upgrade site
& apply the upgrades this process starts over again. This
is making me crazy. This machine is a 1400 Mhz AMD that I
have a dual boot with Win 98 SE. When I have this
problem, my safe mode does not work either. Win 98SE is
OK.
