Blue Screen after applying KB823980(MSBLAST Fix)

Anybody seen the following blue screen error after applying the KB823980
Fix???

0x00000071 Session 5 Initialization Failed (0x00000000, 0x00000000,
0x00000000, 0x00000000)

I have not been able to start Windows 2000 since I installed the patch. Any
suggestions????

That is a kernel/hal mismatch STOP. It wouldnt come from this patch. Did
you install multiple fixes at the same time?

I know that Q811493 and Q815021 upgrade ntoskrnl and ntdll.dll. If those
went on as well, boot into recovery console, browse to the $NtUninstall
directory for the fix, rename the offending file and copy the file from its
uninstall directory to \winnt\system32 and try to boot the machine.
