How can i get my e-mail to stop opening automatically
when i log on to read my mail ?
 
If you are talking about using Outlook express please post your question in
"microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6_outlookexpress"

If you use Outlook Express, you click View and then Layout. Under the
Preview Pane, you unclick the checkbox that says Show Preview Pane. This
will make you email stop opening automatically when you log on to read it.

You have to follow the above process separately for your Mail and Newsgroup
accounts.
