Blocking message ballon from system tray

Hello,

XP has a new feature, text balloons that appear when something happens. I
have it for instance when my laptop connects to a wireless network. I get a
message like: "Connected to MyWlan, signal strength good". I think this is
informatin I could do without. Does anyone managed to set the setting which
disables this feature? It would help me a lot.

Does that utility allow you to re-install the ballon feature if I am not
happy with the results of disabling it?

Yes. "This script can be viewed in Notepad or any text editor, as to the
specific Registry key and value that are updated."

To undo (i.e. to enable Balloon Tips), change the line in the script:

n = 0
to
n = 1
