turn off ballon messages

I have a linksystem router-and everytime the signal
stregth changes a balloon message pops up saying
"signal strength is excellennt" or it pops up and says
"net connection not available" or "available"

Question: In windows xp, how do I turn off these annoying
balloons? I dont even want the balloons concerning XP
issues.
