Blocking Internet access

I require IE6 for use in a terminal connection to a mainframe system using a
dedicated line. I also require Outlook Express for connection to email via
the usual way with an ISP. I DO NOT want staff to be able to connect to the
WOrld Wide Web. Is there any way that this can be blocked thus confining
use to email?

Talk to your network admin. They will know how to configure their
boundary router or firewall to block LAN-side outbound HTTP traffic
(port 80).
