I am getting an error message when I try to run a local
Flash file in IE6. The problem reads as follows:
To Help Protect your security, Internet Explorer has
restricted this file from showing active content that
couls access your computer.
I followed the instructions and even played with the
custom security settings as per the help file but nothing
worked. I believe the whole thing happened after I
installed Google searchbar since it used to work perfectly
fine before that. Uninstalling Google did not do the
trick. I checked all options but nothing worked.
Please note that the offline Flash file used to work fine.
Now it can only open with the standalone Flash Player 7.
It gives an icon when I try to open it using IE6.
PLEASE ADVISE.
