ie6 and flash

When I access a site which has flash content, the flash content does not
display. Everything was OK until I installed the latest ie6 security patch
to deal with the security issues in Win Media Player. I've tried adjusting
all the usual security settings re ActiveX and Java. I can get the web page
to load without the ActiveX content by disabling the scripting for ActiveX
and Java applets.

I have also tried to uninstall the flash player but cannot download the
uninstall file from teh Macromedia site. I can download other files from
other sites.

The History Panel will not display either. Is there a major problem with
the latest patch?

Try to download the uninstall file with Internet Download Manager.
I am using it since v3.9 and have not met any file that it failed to
download.
This program can get files from even those servers where IE or other
download managers fails.

Download the latest version from
