block sending emails to a particular email address?

Is there a way to automatically prevent emails from being sent to a specific
email address, similar to the way I can filter emails I receive?

Just DON'T send them to the address that you don't want to send to! Am I
missing something here? LOL!

Perhaps on the server end, but not on the client side.
