Is it possible to block a specific Internet address from
being accessed ???

I would also like to do this in a way that is not easy to
change or disable...

Any suggestions???

Thanks in advance...

Greetings,

You can try this in Internet Explorer.

1) Open up Internet Explorer
2) Tools > Internet Options
3) Click on the "Content" tab and under the "Content Advisor" choose Enable.

*Continue to follow the steps there*

Thanks and best of luck!

I think you can do it with a modified hosts file and then use spybot to
lock it.

Change nomail.afraid.org to neo.rr.com so you can reply

You could add it to the end of the HOSTS file found in

C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc

Right-click the file and choose open with > Notepad

Then add an entry on the last line as follows

127.0.0.1 www.sitetoban.com

(ie 127.0.0.1 followed by the site you wish to ban .....no http: at the
start nor / at the end)

Obviously easy to change but perhaps not immediately obvious.
