Blocking Specific website address

Although I am aware that their is some sort of filter whereby you can
moderate the content viewed on the internet - is it possible to block a
specific website ?
I would like to keep the filters as they are but block access to one or two
specific sites so they cannot be accessed.
Any help or advise in doing this is much appreciated.

Thanks - Rob

From within Internet Explorer> tools> internet options.. > security tab
restricted sites> sites button, add the address of the site you wish
to block.

Open up the "HOSTS" file

C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\HOSTS

in notepad, and pop the last portion of the web address at the end of it
eg

127.0.0.1 dodgysite.net

As mention'd add it to a HOSTS file, in fact you should have a good
one in place.

What's a HOSTS file

A good one

The one I use
