I'm trying to install the above program but I get an error from the
installer that Grisoft AVG-antivirus is incompatible with it. I can't find
AVG on the computer. I've searched with windows search function and in the
add/remove programs applet but to no avail. I'm running XP with SP2. I think
my son had Grisoft on the computer at one time. How can I locate where Blink
is finding this problem? TIA... G

When AVG was uninstalled, it probably left registry entries that Blink
is finding.

If you're comfortable in the registry you could run a search for "avg"
and then for "grisoft" and delete every entry that the search finds
that you KNOW is a Grisoft AVG entry.

After reading what seems like endless web pages on Blink I've decided it is
not worth installing as I have anti-virus, anti-malware, and am overwhelmed
with anti-everything on the machine already to the point where they out
number the programs on the machine.

BTW, I found high lighted entries in the registry on the right hand side
that did not seem to have a corresponding entry on the left side. But then
again I know nothing about the registry and had to look under Help and
Support to figure out how to get to it.
