blaster virus help

having trouble getting this off machines w/windows xp.
thought we got rid of it, but it keeps on coming back.
we've re-formatted the hard drive twice. the first time
after we could not get rid of it, the virus was gone. Now
it's back, so we reformatted the drive hoping that would
fix. It did not go away, we've tried the RPC settings in
order to get onto the internet to download patches again.
The computer continues to shut down. any suggestion on a
helpful website that I can access from another computer
and get information on how to get rid of this crap
quickly.

Try typing "shutdown -a" in run without the quotes.
