Effects of the Blaster!

Ok before I even found out about the blaster worm. I kept
on getting the shut down error NT/AUTHORITY message. I
went and disabled the Remote Procedure Call(I'm stupid)...
So now I removed the virus but by disabling the RPC my
menue bar is gone and hitting the windows key doesnt bring
up my start menue.... I also it appears lost my ability to
goto the properties screen so i cannot re-enable the
RPC...can someone help me?

Install the Recovery Console, then do the following:

Type this command into the Recovery Console:

ENABLE RpcSs SERVICE_AUTO_START

You should receive a message saying "RpcSs has gone from
SERVICE_DISABLED to SERVICE_AUTO_START, you must reboot
your computer for these changes to take effect."

Type EXIT into the Recovery Console and let your computer
reboot.
