Blank pages with IE on XP Pro

IE 6.0 will no longer display certain pages. It appears to be mostly secure
pages but a lot of non-secure ones like Dell.com. You get nothing but
blank pages. The pages used to work and work on other browsers and IE 6.0
on Win Me. Apparently this has something to do with the patches from
Windows update.

To date, I've run sfc/ scannow and re-registered the dll's listed in MS
knowledgebase article 281679. Nothing seems to work.

Anyone have any answers?? This is getting beyond the mere inconvenience
stage to where I can't do important things.
