blank page

Whenever I start IE a blank page will open then my start page opens in a
separate window, then if I click on link on the page it opens another window.
It seem to of started when updated java to ver .06 jre but that wasn't it
because I removed it, I do still use the MS VM.
Have ran the gauntlet of malware finders and ad-ware windows ,etc nothing
malicous so far

when I closed the blank page it will say windows is trying to closed this
webpage do you want to windows close it which usually happens when Sun Java
is being used grrrrrrr lol

IE opens a link in the same window instead of a new one
From IE> Tools> Internet Options> Advanced> Browsing> check "Reuse windows
for launching shortcuts."

This is possibly being caused by third party programs-
malware/parasites.

From Control Panel> Internet Options> Advanced> uncheck "Enable third
party browser extensions."
If this allows IE to work, then you have scumware on your system. First
clean you machine, then Disable the "third party browser extensions." after
the cleanup.

This is what is happening everytime i open a browser page,
windows can not
find '(null)' make sure you typed the name correctly, then try again, to
Search for a file, click start button, then click search.
when you click ok or closed the error box a new webpage starts and another
error box starts, and the original page that you linked from opens along
with another error box, its a vicious circle

I dont know what else to do, i have ran spyware doctor(found backdoor
trojan) ,true sword ,msas scans,avg scans adaware sypbot

Is it possible that if I reinstall IE6 it could cure problelm
I have reserv32 all the related dlls
