error 306? bookmarks can't be organized

Please help , after reading for days I have never found anything like this.
When I try to organize my bookmarks I get error 306 and it won't let me but
it lets me add new ones. I can cut and paste the addresses into the folders
but that takes a lot of time. This started after I got the 6.0 version or one
of the updates (not sure) I have ver. #
6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_gdr.050301-1519. cipher strength: 128-bit update
versions Sp2

I would look at these 5 first.
Widen the scope if they don't help.

Thank you so much. I know what I did now. I went to Tools, then manage
add-ons and I disabled
Shell Name Space like a fool not knowing what it was and that was the
problem. All I had to do was go back and enable it again.
