JavaScript pages not loading IE 6.0

I recently had an issue with IE 6.0 and wanted to share
how I fixed it. The problem was that no javascript pages
would work. When I would try to load a page that used
javascript it would just show a blank page. After much
hassel of installing the Microsoft VM (which never fixed
it) I started looking at the dll's that IE used. I found
the correct dll that was causing this. The dll is
jscript.dll and it is in the system32 directory.
Register this file using Microsoft's Register Server and
walla it worked again!

.Dude you are a godsend I have been working for days
trying to fix this problem. Just one thing though, where
can I get/use the Register Server? Thanks a lot.

Mike, buddy, I've been battling this problem for two
months...and your fix didn't do it, what's messing me up
is IE6 works fine on my account, but the other three
accounts we have do not run IE6 correctly. I.E. doesn't
open hyperlinks to mail, yellow pages, etc... on Yahoo's
home page. I tried your fix on the other accounts (run--
regsvr32 jscript.dll), it gave me the it's running
response, but we still can't open hyperlinks on Yahoo on
my wife's account. At this point I have reloaded IE6,
twice...Installed newest java VM, three times...installed
newest java runtime environment, three times, and tried
every trick anybody has yet come up with on the forum
here. I may have to be killed by my wife to get any
relief, she's very close to doing so...any ideas might
save my life...help a poor distraught husband
please...Thanks Jason...
