Blank desktop after login

After I login to windows I recieve a blank screen. If I
press ctr-alt-del and quit explorer.exe and start it again
then the desktop comes back.

This happens with every profile. Is there something I can
change?

Try disabling Web Content/Active Desktop
Right click desktop
Properties
Web
untick "Show Web content on my Active Desktop"

Click Apply
Click OK

Go to
Start
Run
type
regedit
then press OK

navigate to

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Exp
lorer

check if there's a key called "NoDesktop".

If there is delete it.

Restart the system.
