I have just purchased an 8703e Blackberry and I am having troubles getting my
email form work (microsoft 2003) I followed the instruction from the
Blackberry book and set up an account. Do I have to do anything from work.
The sales rep said it should be as esay as setting up my account from the
blackberry and email should come in. I was able to send an email form my
blackberry to work and retreive it form my desktop

Are you connecting to an Exchange server at work? Do they have a BES
(Blackberry Enterprise Server)? Are you using the Blackberry Desktop
Redirector?
Did you talk to your Systems Administrator about the permissions and
security required to use your personal Blackberry to retrieve work email? It
may require them to allow auto-forwarding to the internet for you to use your
Blackberry if the Redirector is not an option.
You should take this up with your IT team at your place of business. Sales
reps will tell you alot of things and make it sound very easy, in order to
sell a product. The reality of it sometimes is quite a bit more than they
will lead you to believe.
