Black Hole appears v\where video should?

On my laptop using PP2003 the video looks and sounds fine, but the projector
displays a black hole? I
'm using an Alienware P4 3G processor with 3G of ram. I've tried S-video
and DVI outs with the same results.
 
I Should add I packaged the presentation onto a single CD and it's playing
from that with the PowerPoint Viewer.
