You don't. The bios is what controlls your motherboard settings and loads
first prior to turning control of your system over to windows.
Depending on the make of your mb, you enter the bios by pressing a certain
key when it is first booting. Often times it will tell you what to press to
enter setup ( bios) as it is booting.
Typically, is is the delete key, or a function key like F8.
Check for messages on bootup, and your manual for your mb. Be very careful
in the bios, you can really mess a system up by changing things you are not
knowledgeable on.
You should also be aware that it's very easy to render, at least
temporarily, your PC unbootable by making an incorrect change in the
BIOS. So be very careful.
