bios update shut down

I am getting a message regarding needing bios updates.
The computer suggests disabling the bios memory option.
Something about caching and shadowing. Restarting in the
safe mode to remove and disable components? Anyone?

Where are you getting this message? When? How is the computer running?
What problems are you having? I don't mean to hurt your feelings, but
from your post it is clear that you aren't that computer savvy. It
would be unwise for you to mess around with your BIOS without knowing
exactly what you are doing. Please repost with exact information or
take the computer to a good local professional (not a CompUSA or
BestBuy type of store).
