Bios settings...help

I want to try a repair install on my xp, but can't boot
from the cd drive..
The option comes up to press a key to access this setting,
but when I press any key on the keyboard, it's like it
doesn't recognise it..

There must be something I am missing here, lol

Look to see what key you must press before Windows boots in
order to access the BIOS. F2, F1, F10 or esc are common
(but not only keys) or look at your computer manual.

I know how to get into the bios, lol (del key), but need to
try a repair install, lol, I set up the cd drive to boot
first, then the HD, then the floppy... Is there something
else I am missing

Try using the arrow keys.
If you are trying to use numbers, use the numbers at the top of the
keyboard. The numbers on the number pad may not work.
