Is it possible to slow down the boot up process and get a screen shot from
this stage or from a later page in BIOS and save it to a file or print it?

Use a (digital) camera to photograph the screen. The shutter needs to be
slower than or equal to the refresh rate.

Easy if you have a non-winprinter. Just hit print screen.

I ned to slow it down. Cf my old Win Me OS on a 200Mhz system, this thing
charges through at speeds that would leave Startrek gasping. I tried a
digital camera and a camcorder. No luck. How can I freezw it?

You can't save it to a file, because you are not yet running an
operating system, which is needed to give you R/W access to
drives.

If you have a printer attached to a parallel port and it's not of
of theose called a "winprinter," just pressing Print Screen
should do it (depending on the kind of printer, you may have to
manually eject the page after printing).

Alternatively, you can copy down the BIOS pages with paper and
pencil or by photographing them with a digital camera.

Or just hit print screen a few more times to fill up the page.
Generally, a bios page takes a tad over a third of a single page. So, in
using a nonwinprinter. You either go to the next bios page and hit print
screen or just hit print screen 2 more times to get that single page to
spit out.
