Big deficiency in MS Explorer Search?

Search will find user-defined file types under 'all files or folders', but
even when they are written with Notepad will not find 'word or phrase in
file'.

Is there a way to make it do this?

Use the free Agent Ransack instead of Windows search.

Then get this.

Using the "A word or phrase in the file" search criterion may not work

Thanks for swift response both.
And thanks to Doug Knox - again. I added the registry sub-key by hand and
was then able to find what I was looking for. If only all sys admin problems
could be solved in 2 minutes!
