Did you try Microsot Update to see if there were any hardware updates
available? That is how you access the driver store.

The windows update application is great. But I had a problem with this way
to update drivers. My wireless card was not working properly with the driver
included in the Vista DVD.
As I get my Internet connection via wireless at home I have no way to
connect and use windows update to update my wifi drivers. My only option was
to get my PC box and ask to a neightbout that has a LAN connection to
connect thought my LAN card to update Vista.
I will be great if there's an alternate option to get the drivers or
updates. This way I can download at the office, put in a pen drive and
install at home without asking to the neightbours.
