Best s/w for camcorder to DVD?

Hi all,

Can anyone recommend a good s/w suite for creating a DVD from recorded video
transferred to the pc via firewire?

I have seen Adobe Premiere, Roxio 7, Movie maker etc but would appreciate
recommendations.

Adobe Premiere is an editing program, not a DVD burning program. Roxio EMC
7 works fine, as does the older version EZCD DVD Creator v6. Also generally
recommended are Nero and Sonic's MyDVD. Sonic just recently purchased
Roxio's products.

Studio 9 the best all around program. Check with the local computer
store when they have it on sale. Sometime not advertised. Frys has a
real deal this week.

Adobe Premier Elements was just announced for $99 - sounds like a nice
package, certainly worth comparing to others at that price.

I use MM2 and MyDVD with nice results.
