Belkin F5U207: "The device is not responding"

Summary of Question
-------------------
For XP Home, how do you uninstall F5U207 (Belkin USB Video Device)
because the uninstall instructions seem to be incorrect.

Also how do I capture the audio (this should be captured at the same
time as the video, if I use S-Video, according to the Belkin's
website)?

Detailed Question
-----------------
I installed Belkin F5U207 and as part of the install I got messages
saying that the following had been succesfuly installed: "Closed
Caption Decoder", "NABTS/FEC VBI Codec", "World Standard Teletext
Codec", "BDA Slip De-Framer", "BDA IP Sink", "Microsoft Streaming Tee
/ Sink-to-Sink Converter". I managed to capture some video (from
analog cam) using Movie Maker 2. I got no sound. I used S-Video on
cam.

In an attempt to get around this lack of sound I decided to uninstall
so I then uninstalled (Device Manager: Action > Uninstall) the device
(XP Home). I then removed the relevant OEM file and associated PNF
file.

I then installed (as per the install instructions ie
F5U207WINXPINSTALLATION.PDF) the device again. But now when I try and
capture video (from MS Movie Maker 2.0) I get: "The device is not
responding. Close any other application that is using the device and
try capturing again". I click "OK" and get "The video device cannot be
used at this time because there has been an error when starting the
device". How do you fix this?

In an attempt to fix this I deleted the following file shown from
Start > Run > "c:\windows\inf" : "bda", "wstcodec", "kscaptur",
"nabtsfec" and their associated PNF files. I had hoped when I
uninstalled and reinstalled that installation wizard would guide me
through adding all the stuff mentioned in paragraph 1 of the Detailed
Question above. Unfortunately it didn't so I restored these files I
deleted and performed the uninstall and reinstall again.

When I use AMCAP 1.0 and capture video the resulting file, when played
back via Media Player 9" is entirely blank i.e. black video footage
and no audio.
