BCM install causing first & last names to switch places

Need some help, please. Bought a new PC with Office 2003 with BCM.
Transferred all data successfully and then loaded BCM. Now when I try to
enter a new contact the first & last names are reversed.

Example: Click on File > New > Contact in Outlook and type in John Smith as
the name in the form. When I then click on the 'Full Name' button, it shows
Smith as first name and John as last name. If I correct the names in Full
Name pop-up, then the contact shows up as Smith John on the name line of the
contact record.

How do I fix this? Thank you!

Hi Steve,

What happens if you go to Tools > Options > Preferences.
Then click "Contact Options"
What is the default "File As" Option

Thanks Larry! I played around with this and have it working correctly for
new contacts. It doesn't correct old ones but I don't have too many to clean
up.
