BCM Contact Entering New Fields

Hi I can't seem to edit new fields.

I add a new field by right clicking on top bar in contacts, selecting field
chooser, clicking new and entering my new field and format.

But when I click on the contact to fill in this new field it is not on my
form and I don't know how to add it to my form. Any suggestions would be
greatly appreciated.
