Battery

Hi,

Everyone is probably tired of questions about batteries by now, however
windoews will not recognise my battery. When plugged in the battery light
indicates that it is charging, but as soon as the power cable is removed it
switches off immediately. It says that a battery is not present.

Its probably obvious to everyone else that its because the battery is dead,
however it happened suddenly, one time it worked the next it didn't!!

Hello,

This seems to be due to an internal circuitry malfunction.

When you unplug the power cable with the battery in, the internet circuitry
(or whatever else it's called) should automatically switch to the battery
without the OS intervening.

You are positive that the battery lock pins are in the locked position?
