barcodes

how do I type barcodes to be used on labels to be scanned i.e sandwich
labels. i have barcodes in word but don't seem to be able to get them on. any
sugestions would be a great help.

If you don't specifically need a barcode for an address, then Word has no
functionality to generate a barcode.

In this case, you need some kind of software to generate the barcode
numbers, and a font to apply to display these as a barcode. There are a
number of third-party products on the market, I believe. You may want to
try a Google search.
