bad_pool_header XP

My pc keeps shutting down with a blue screen and message
about bad_pool_header 0X00000019

I went to look in MS knowledge and there is nothing for
Windows XP

I have Version 6.0.2900.2180.xoso_sp2_rtm.

PLEASE PLEASE HELP

First, restart in safe mode to see if the issue stops. If it does, then its
hardware driver conflict, rerun Windows XP Setup from the installation disk
then choose to repair the Windows XP installation.

Have you installed any new hardware recently or updated any drivers?

HI TY For answering no I haven't installed new HW at all
and if I updated drivers it would have been through MS..

TY TY SO MUCH FOR REPLYING...not sure how to start in
safe mode will look into it now TY TY will let you know
how I do...what exactly do you mean if issues stops?
leave it in safe mode to see if it clicks off? When
running setup XP I just want to repair right? Not restore
to original? Sorry to sound so confusing...thanks so ,uch!

OK did safe mode and no problem will run the disc tomorrow
and let you know! THANK YOU!!!!!

and if I updated drivers it would have been through MS..

And that can be the cause of the problem. Never get driver updates from
the MS windows update site. Get them from the web site of the card
maker or from your computer maker's web site if it was an OEM package.

If you have updated any drivers from the MS site then roll them back
using the roll back function in device manager. Right click on My
Computer, Choose properties, hardware | device manager. Go the the
device, click on the plus sign to expand the listing, double click the
item. Select the Driver tab and choose rollback.
