bad hardware memory location

I keep getting an "unable to read/write location" error message, always with
the same location. Does Windows XP offer away to modify the map from virtual
to physical memory to exclude a bad location or block of memory?

Are you sure this is hardware an not just the OS thowing a protection
fault?
