Hello,
Sorry if my English is not so good, but I am French !

I installed MS AntiSpyware yesterday, it is working fine,
but my Laptop XP DELL SmartPC250 won't display properly
the menu.

The AntiSpyware window is giving me a blank strip on the
right and the characters are too long to be display in
that window.

I tried many adjustment but nothing change

Different font size
1400x1050
1024x768
Distinctive display acceleration
Etc.

The display processor and card Mobility Radeon (LY) M6

Do you have an idea ?

Note : if anyone can speak French, don't hesitate !

I'd recommend setting the font size back to the default. This is an issue
Microsoft is aware of, so it may be fixed in a future beta release.

I see that you have tried different font sizes, so perhaps the fix will
require both a screen size setting and a font size setting.

I have a Dell 600m, which is working fine, but I don't have quite as high a
screen resolution as you do, I think, and I haven't changed the font size
settings.

Hello,

The normal setting for that DELL SmartPC 250N screen is
1400x1050.

Thanks

I checked my laptop, and it is set at 1400x1050.

So--I believe the display should work properly at the default font size and
spacing, and at that resolution.

My experience in these groups is that the font size/width is what causes
these issues.

So--set the font size to "Normal (96 dpi)" and I believe it will look
correct.

I have tryed this morning, and you were right, it was a
trouble with the fonts,

But I can't left the default fonts because it is so thin,
that I can't read without my glasses

Thanks

I understand the problem!

All that I can say is watch for a second beta version--perhaps this issue
will be among those fixed.

(and apologies for my lack of French--My wife speaks some, and there are two
other people on the block who speak fluent French--but I'm not one of them!)
