Display MsgBox Constants in French

I have installed French Version Access 2000 on a English Windows 2000 PC.

My application has a English/French toggle button that allows user to select the prefered language to use. The minority users will use the French Access Version 2000 while the rest the English Version Access 2000.

For the French Version Access 2000 platform, they would expect the message box constants from the form to show up in French but it won't. The system messages do show up in French however.

I use quite a bit of the message box constants eg. vbYesNo, vbOKCancel etc...does anyone know if there is a way to set these message box constants to display in French ????

Thank you in advance.

Hi,

If you have a French version, the MessageBox will display the buttons
with French labels, even if you use, in your code vbOKOnly, vbYesNo. The
code changes vbYesNo to its numerical (language less) value before
displaying the message box. If the English words are still used, maybe it is
NOT a standard dialog supplied by the OS/Office (a user defined form, as
example, that mimic a dialog), maybe the end user preferences settings are
not set to French.

Hoping it may help,
