Backup

My Windows XP has a back up. When I do a backup to the C
drive (via shadow copy) can I retrieve info from this
drive if a I lose all my info. or do I need a bacup disk?

That won't work if you partition hard drive to give D:

you could reload windows on to C: and then open backup
utility to go to D: and retrive your backup. Best
suggestion I have is get ghost (I have on Norton System
Works 2003 Pro) functions great, backup to cd, system down
just put in disk reboot and your back in the game.
