Is there a way to automate NTBACKUP, as far as setting the backup for a
certain time rather than doing it manually. If not is there an inexpensive
addon for a home computer backup to do this

Try Start-> All Programs-> Accessories-> System Tools-> Scheduled Tasks

I see NO Scheduled Tasks where you say to look.

Not in my WindowsXP.
