Depends on what you want to back up. If you want a backup of your complete
system, use a drive-imaging utility like Ghost or DriveImage. If you want
to do automatic backups of data to CD, you'll need a 3rd party application
because hte XP backup can't write to CD. I've had good results with Backup
Plus (www.avantrix.net) which is relatively inexpensive. If you just want
casual backups, use XP's CD burning capabilities.
But the answer depends on what you actually want to do.
